Cereals Event 2023 highlights

Did you come to Cereals Event this year?

Over the 2 days we served 2,400 slices of pizza and 780 hot drinks with over 650 visitors to the stand completing the Corteva CPD knowledge trail - we hope you found our team and posters on stand to be very helpful! We were privileged to host DEFRA Minister, Mark Spencer, who enjoyed a tour of the stand and gaining an understanding about how Corteva is part of the solution to help UK farmers with the challenges they face.

Resilient & Ready farmers share success of LEAF Open Farm Sunday

Our Resilient & Ready farmers Bryony and Archie Graham at Lodge Farm in Essex and Lucy and Nick Tyler at Kingsplay Farm in Wiltshire, hosted guests on the 11 of June for LEAF Open Farm Sunday!

LEAF Open Farm Sunday is an annual event coordinated by LEAF, where farmers across the country open their farms to the public.

Both farms opened their doors on Sunday 11 June to show their local communities the behind the scenes of their farms. The two farms hosted events raising awareness of the work that they do, this included providing guests with walking and tractor tours, a machinery display set up and catering for the guests. For the Tyler's, LEAF Open Farm Sunday enabled them to teach locals about the inside operations of a working diary and show them the calves, the milking parlour with cows in the rotary system and feed rations.

Two new oilseed rape hybrids gain national listing - ready for 2023 planting

Two new winter oilseed rape hybrids from Pioneer^® have been added to the UK National List and the EU List, with seeds available for planting this summer.

PT312 and PT315 have been added to the Corteva range, having been extensively tested across UK and Europe. Corteva's Seeds and Inoculants Manger, Andy Stainthorpe, has spoken about their listing and trial results in a press release. Read it here or using the button below.
