Mentoring roadshow - As part of the drive to encourage and develop collaborative relationships between the current and first cohort Resilient and Ready farmers, Nick Down hosted the premiere mentoring session at Yattendon Estates in November this year. Exchanging ideas and knowledge between and across the cohorts, is a focal point of the programme and helps to support the farmers in gaining the skills and know-how to put into action the practices needed to move towards their goals. Updated sprayer hygiene and winter maintenance advice launched: Last week we launched an updated best practice advice video highlighting the benefits of good sprayer hygiene. The video is presented by independent spray application specialist Tom Robinson and farm foreman Andrew Myatt. It has been created with operators in mind, showing in detail how to dismantle, replace and reassemble the wearing parts of the sprayer that require attention during winter maintenance. There is a main video, together with a series of shorts, depending on the time operators have available. The videos include Corteva’s Inatreq™ best practice application advice.
